My family knows it, my friends know it, and you probably know it, too. I love food. That’s why I thought it would be a good idea to share my favourite places to eat in London. Sadly, I’m terrible at food photography, so don’t expect artistic pictures of burgers here. I’m too busy eating to instagram it most of the time. Anyway, let’s get on with where to eat in London!

Pancakes at Grounded in London
Best Breakfast

Ah the most important meal of the day! (Actually, they’re all important to me..)

My favourites included pancakes or the full English breakfast at Grounded Coffee Company. Actually, everything I had there was great. My mouth starts watering now that I remember the salmon and poached eggs, add a macaroon and a cappuccino for dessert and it’s the best start to a day ever.

Best Lunch

Honestly, I’m a big fan of just dropping by one of the larger chains and picking up or eating a quick lunch there. My favourite place to do so is the Pret a Manger. Most of it seems fresh and healthy, which is a huge plus after a full English breakfast 😉

Afternoon tea at The ShardBest Afternoon Tea

Usually, I enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake at any of the local coffee shops or chains. However, an afternoon tea at The Shard is something else. Champagne, porcini mushroom dark chocolate mousse somethings, scones to die for, and awesome savoury sandwiches could hardly compete with the view from the 32nd floor.

Best Dinner

This is a tough one. I’ve had dinner in all sorts of places. Some of the Indian food is the best I’ve had outside of India. However, the burgers or other pub grub in modern gastro-pubs were also to die for.

At the end of the day there is one place that will always hold a special place in my heart. A trip to London simply wouldn’t be complete without a dinner at Wildwood Kitchen. Although I’ve been coming there for years with one of my best friends, we only found out there’s more than one of them last year. Oops. Either way, you cannot go wrong with a pizza or pasta dish at Wildwood. Add a glass of red and I’m a happy girl any day of the week!

Do you have any other favourite places to eat in London? Let me know in the comments, I love hearing from you guys!

Cheers,

Sandra
